ABOUT

I am an Associate Professor and the Faculty Technical Director at the University of Arizona’s School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Before coming to the U of A, I spent 24 years working in regional theatre and production houses in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Nashville, including seven seasons as the Technical Director for the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre Company in Atlanta.

In 2010, I earned my M.Ed. in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Belmont University. In 2021, I Became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor for OSHA 10- & 30-hr training.

Honey joined the team in 1991 and established herself as the Head of Security right off the bat.

You can see my commitment to Honey by not making her take mandatory retirement but rather altering her duties to accommodate her growing need to monitor the room with her eyes closed.

Harp came on board in 2007 after apprenticing with Honey for a few months and took over as Head of Security.

Harp also found time to explore her fascination with woodworking, focusing mainly on whittling pieces and not so much on joining wood together.

Augustus is the current member of the team, and he takes on multiple roles. As you can see, he is an advocate of safety.
